ZEBRA immersive technologies at the Uffizi Gallery to welcome the return to Florence of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Leicester code”.
On the occasion of the 500th anniversary from the death of one of the iconic figures in the history of humanity – Leonardo da Vinci – the Leicester Code returns to Florence on loan by Bill Gates, on the occasion of the exhibition “Water, Nature’s Microscope”.
Digital waterfalls surround the visitors who admire the authentic pages of the Leonardian manuscript, while projections and interactive surfaces allow them to discover and deepen the themes of the exhibition. ZEBRA oversaw the implementation of multimedia systems from technical design to implementation, also managing the use of the Codescope: an innovative tool that allows you to translate and “overturn” the writing of the Renaissance genius to make it accessible to the general public.
The exhibition, visited by hundreds of thousands of people, benefited from constant technical support through real-time alerts on the functioning of the system, remotely monitored in an automated way to ensure complete and constant operation.
